Relevance and Importance of the Conference

The Uniform Customs Code of the EAEU is scheduled for signing on December 26, 2016, at St. Petersburg Summit of the EAEU. Both the government and business community, which was actively involved in the elaboration of this new document, have high hopes for its adoption and implementation. The new document will introduce significant changes in the foreign trade of the EAEU member states, as it will create conditions for automating many processes, improve business climate, and minimize direct contacts of businesses and customs authorities. The experts believe that the Code will help stimulate exports between the EAEU member states and significantly improve the level of foreign trade activities following the large-scale transition to information technology.
