A scene in "Goltzius and the Pelican Company," the second feature of Peter Greenway's series, "Dutch Masters." The film shows the life of Hendrik Goltzius, a 16th-century Dutch painter, draftsman, and engraver of erotic prints.

Dance

A dancer and ballerina performing in "Ballet Romantics," premiering on Sept. 13 at the Novaya Opera. The show features a ballet by choreographer Paul Mejia with music by Tchaikovsky followed by a concert of classical ballet.

Exhibits

A Muscovite gazing at a forest of miniature trees, part of the exhibit "Forest. Contemporary Art from Krasnodar," which opened last week as part of Winzavod's new season. The exhibit is part of this year's Fifth Moscow Biennale.
